What data is collected?


Registration data

Name, email, address, telephone, CPF, ID, date of birth and gender. This data is used in our contractual relationship and is important for some actions, such as registration research, issuing invoices and also for communicating with you.

Bank data

If you have chosen automatic debit, your bank details are used to cross-check payments recorded in automatic debit.

Sensitive data

This is information related to an identified or identifiable natural person, which deals with their racial or ethnic origin, religious conviction, political opinion, membership of a trade union or organization of a religious, philosophical or political nature. In addition, data relating to health, sexual life, genetic and biometric data and those relating to income and socioeconomic status are also included.

Aptitude does not store any sensitive data of its customers, employees and partners.

How long does Aptitude process your data?


Aptitude, as a rule, processes your data for as long as the provision of its services lasts. However, we need to keep some of your data stored after the end of the contractual relationship to comply with some legal requirements, such as in cases where we are required to provide data to public authorities or even to defend ourselves in legal proceedings. In general, after the contractual relationship, registration and billing data will be stored for the period established by current legislation.

Each data has a storage time in our systems and, therefore, we created the temporality table to fix it depending on the type of data and the contractual relationship.

Who do we share your data with?

For good service provision, some of your data may be shared with partner companies. These shares are necessary to perform specific services, which are already included in our service provision contract. See some examples below:
  • New Contracts
  • Charges
  • Call Answering
  • Relationship through Aptitude contact channels.

In addition to these situations with partner companies, we may also share your data with public authorities when requested in open procedures to comply with due legal process.
But don't worry: all of these partners are signatories to the same legal principles established by the General Data Protection Law.

How does Aptitude protect your data?

Information is an essential asset for business management and, as a result, needs to be very well protected. Aptitude adopts various standards and measures to avoid and mitigate security incidents, prevent improper access to data, unauthorized disclosure, modification or destruction. Information stored and processed in the company is only handled by authorized and qualified personnel, and access is systematically audited.

Furthermore, the periodic updating and dissemination of internal regulations, as well as the continuous training of its employees and the application of robust security solutions, aim to guarantee the safe and correct use of information in the organization and its protection against cyber threats.

Regarding data, what are your rights?

Aptitude is the data controller responsible for your information. In accordance with the General Data Protection Law (“LGPD”), you have certain rights in relation to the information we maintain in our database.
You have the following rights and can exercise them through our service channels:

1. Confirmation of the existence of treatment

You may want to know whether Aptitude processes your data. If you are a customer, have recently been a customer or are in the process of hiring Aptitude services, the answer will always be yes.

2. Right of access

You may want to know what information Aptitude has about you.

3. Correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data

You can access the Aptitude service channels and request the correction of your data.

4. Anonymization or elimination of unnecessary, excessive or processed data that does not comply with the law

Aptitude processes your data only considering that necessary for each treatment it carries out and within the hypotheses provided for by law. In any case, if you want certain data to be anonymized, blocked or deleted, we may analyze your request.

5. Deletion of data processed with consent

In these cases, Aptitude may delete this data after all legal data retention periods to comply with applicable laws. Furthermore, data may be kept for transfer to third parties based on law.

6. Revocation of consent

You can revoke any consent you have previously given, and to do so, you must speak through our service channels or other appropriate channels.

7. Opposition

If you understand that Aptitude is carrying out any data processing contrary to the law, you can make your request through the service channels.

8. Right to petition

You also have the right to send a request to the National Data Protection Authority (“ANPD”), in which case you must contact that authority directly.
